Our 36 sensor package, as well as all of our featured packages listed below include our GroundWorx GX-1 Platform™ micro-Weather Station. With our Pre-sales Introductory Pricing, all activation fees and applicable deposits are waived.





For a reasonable and budget-friendly monthly payment, golf courses and commercial properties can immediately begin monitoring their micro-weather, soil & turf conditions and do away with cumbersome line-of-sight systems and manual soil sampling practices. With a simple installation process using a 6" hole cutter, sensors can be placed in greens, fairways, tee boxes, and common areas of the course. Flexible sensor placement, both macro and micro weather data along with machine learning and AI makes GroundWorx™ a "whole course" solution.

The GroundWorx™ Executive Management team is comprised of experienced technology, hospitality, and golf industry executives. Many are entrepreneurs and have had successful companies in the wireless and software industries, giving the team a deep breadth of understanding in the wireless technology space.

  • Brad David (Co-founder, Chairman & CEO) Mr. David is an entrepreneur with a proven track record in developing companies and delivering solid high-tech products and services. Over his 25-year career in the wireless industry, Brad has founded 4 companies and advised many others. Brad has worked in the IoT space for the past 7 years and has created industry first products in the soil & turf, fuel tank and pest control marketplaces. Brad conceptualized and co-invented the GroundWorx™ GX-1 Platform SaaS solution. Brad is the driving force behind the go-to-market plan for the service and has set up all of our sales channels and has recruited top-tier worldwide Sales Agents in the golf and commercial landscaping industries.
  • Dennis Clark (COO & Board Member) Mr. Clark retired from 26 years with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts as Managing Director of the Grand Del Mar in San Diego, one of only 12 Triple Five Star Properties in the World. (Forbes Travel Guide). In addition to the Del Mar’s world-renowned hotel and spa, Clark was also responsible for the management the private Grand Golf Club where several top ranked PGA players are currently members. A notable high point of his career was being appointed as the first Corp. Dir of Quality for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel company and in the process of applying for the Malcolm Baldrige Nat. Quality award he became a prominent advocate in the hospitality application of quality manufacturing principles, which later evolved into the popular Lean Management concepts practiced by Boeing, Toyota and many leading companies. In his role as GM he supervised the owner’s capital investments as well as all operations and sales. In total he oversaw approximately $75M in construction and capital improvements over the last 20 years. These projects were driven by ROI or Competitive advantage. At the Grand, over $1.5m was invested last year at the golf facility. Irrigation and water use were regular and critical topics as efforts were made to managed expenses. The Director of Agronomy for 15 years in Del Mar and the Grand’s Golf Pro (recently winning the award as Southern California’s top Golf Pro) have both verified that GroundWorx will show immediate benefit to the operations if it were available and encouraged Clark to get involved. Clark is very familiar with the need to invest capital wisely, and the analysis that goes with those decisions. In the last five years, he has become very familiar with golf operations.
  • Lee Marshall (Co-founder & Executive Vice President) Mr. Marshall brings more than over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in operations, change management, marketing, sales and finance. Lee has co-founded and consulted to six startup companies in New Zealand, Australia, United States, and Canada. In his career, Lee has overseen sales, operations, finance and marketing, supporting companies as CEO, Chief Operating Officer or as a consultant on an advisory board. Lee has been a director and board member of four companies and had been recently COO of Lively, a software and technology company based in Seattle. Lee is responsible for the Master Agency in New Zealand, which will oversee the Australia, Oceania and Asian markets.
  • Diego Borrego (CTO & Board Member) Mr. Borrego is a business and technology leader talented in envisioning and executing technical and operational strategies that result in strong bottom-line results. A seasoned executive with almost 20 years of management experience building and shaping lean organizations and productive development teams to create and invigorate high tech companies. Having received his master’s degree (Master of Science Engineering and Technology Management) from MIT, Diego went on to found Networkfleet and worked in many senior management positions at some of the largest auto makers in the world including General Motors and Delphi. Diego also served as CTO of Morey Corp. for 4 years and has helped GroundWorx™ build a strong and lasting relationship with our chosen manufacturer.
  • Dennis Kubacak (CFO & Board Member) Mr. Kubacak has worked in the financial sector for over 20 years, is a Certified Public Accountant and serves as Head of Finance and Company Operations. Dennis has served as CFO for software and technology companies, guiding these companies through high growth and acquisitions, assisting in the sale of one such company to Siebel Systems. Dennis is responsible for all internal business systems such as ordering, distribution, CRM and billing platforms.
  • Craig Kirkpatrick (Vice President of Engineering & Manufacturing) Mr. Kirkpatrick is an engineering executive with 30+ years in wireless and automotive electronics manufacturing and product development with master’s degrees in Engineering and Business from Cornell. Expertise in building engineering teams, improving operational efficiencies, driving cross-functional teams to deliver products to market, and ramping up manufacturing capacity for fast growing electronics product lines. Core competencies include Manufacturing Strategy & Deployment, Vendor/Partner Relationships, Product Development, and Engineering Project Management. Practitioner of Lean/Six Sigma methodology with a black belt certification.
  • Luis Saldana (Director of Software Development) Mr. Saldana 25+ years of experience in the software industry. He has been a business and technology leader for international service suppliers. His interests are focused on the IoT, automation, digital transformations, and connected-devices ecosystems.Previously, Luis served as a business development leader and technology officer, he has held positions in operations, account management, software-application engineering. Luis is now dedicated to create value through data analysis and digital processes innovation. Luis has MBA and BS from Monterrey Tec.
  • Steven Loudon (Director of Electrical Engineering) Mr. Loudon is an electrical engineer with 30+ years of experience in the development and deployment of automotive electronic systems, including safety systems – airbag controller and vehicle stability systems and aftermarket electronics – fleet management controller. Wide breadth of electronic subsystem experience, including motion and location sensing, hydraulic and electrical actuation, and cellular data communications. Experience applying engineering and management skills in multiple domains – electronic design and manufacture, firmware design, development and testing, as well as engineering development process definition.
  • David Adams (Director of Research & Development) Mr. Adams has worked in wireless technology for over 20 years. David develops software, writes code, designs hardware and understands mobile wireless connectivity at its deepest levels. He has a proven track record in building software programs and apps and has developed hardware in the past for IoT consumer deployments. David is an expert in battery & antenna technologies and is the co-inventor of the GroundWorx™ GX-1 PaaS solution.
